Hardhat fund me test.

hello there, I have been stuck on a particular place for days now. At 11:17:58 of the course, I completed the code for the FundMe.test.js but when ever I run the script I get an error saying that getContract is not a function.
here is my code:

install packages using npm i --force, then you can use either yarn hardhat test or npx hardhat test

you changed package-lock.json not package.json

before install packages, delete yarn.lock, package-lock.json, node_modules, cache and artifacts

Do I also delete the package.json file? Because all the things you suggested that should be in my package.json file are there already and the three import lines you told me to add to my hardhat-config.js file is there already. I have deleted and reinstalled the files you told me to.

Don't delete package.json file.
step by step
1- Delete yarn.lock, package-lock.json, node_modules, cache and artifacts
2- Replace dependencies and devDependencies of package.json with this

3- install packages using npm i --force
4- Replace all requirements of hardhat.config.js with this

I did as you've said then i tried to run the test, I got this error

I also followed the instruction in the error and ran the command. After that I tried yarn hardhat test it actually worked this time. Thanks, I have been on this for days.

OK, that's great.

note: if you use npm i --force you don't need to install all those packages, I assume that you used yarn install not npm i --force.
by the way, you can use yarn commands after installation.
