could not decode result data

I run into this error : "could not decode result data (value="0x", info={ "method": "retrieve", "signature": "retrieve()" }, code=BAD_DATA, version=6.5.1)" when i try to call a view function from my contract. Heres my code:

I think, instead of contract.target, use contract.address

console.log(`This is the contract address: ${contract.address}`);
