Call command for sending ETH doubt.

What does this statement mean??

Now call is very poweful command, and we can call virtually any function using it in all over ETH without even
having to have the ABI.

Please Explain.

Its about call() function , when we are making withdraw() func in FundMe contract

@gyan313 Yes, so the statement says We can call any function without having the ABI for it we need to understand the call function.

payable(msg.sender).call{value: address(this).balance}("")

Let's see what this line does;
payable(msg.sender) is the address where we want to send the funds.

value: address(this).balance using the value option we can pass the eth to that address.

call("") this is the call function, basically, we use it for sending funds to any address (which is recommended way now), but this is not the main function of the call function. Instead call function is available to interact with the other contract and to call other contract functions using it.

We have ("") this string argument is available in the call function where we can pass the calldata of the function we want to call of the other smart contract. When you pass the calldata, the other contract will look for the function with similar calldata inside it and if it does not find any function with similar calldata then it will check whether we passed the eth together or not. If we pass the eth together then it will by default call the receive payable function, otherwise, it will call the fallback payable function (if we are sending eth together and receive payable will not be available then fallback payable will be called also).

This way we do not need the ABI and only using the calldata we can call other smart contracts functions.
