what is the issue?

• while doing lesson 9 encountered with this error:-

• i tried every solution which has been provided in similar discussions but it didn't work for me, Please look into my source code and help me ,got stucked here.

tried yarn add --dev ethers@^5 , still same error.

@anonymgit I installed your project locally and after running the above command your issue is resolved but your code has other code-related issues. you should fix those.

Check the package.json file you have ethers version 5 like this "ethers": "^5", otherwise run the above command.

Also, you should migrate your project to the hardhat toolbox plugin, here LINK you can learn to do so.

For anyone still having this problem:

I ran into it whilst using ethers version ^6.3.0.

All I had to do was run

yarn hardhat clean

Sometimes the cache causes this problem, I haven't delved deeper into why just yet, however.
