Hello hope you solved your issue but if not try this because i can see you have a variable updatedFavorite but in your console.log you are accessing a wrong variable try this instead console.log(`updated favorite number is: ${updatedFavorite}`)

The error is coming from one of your transactions in the contract, please check to ensure all the code is set right

it came from the settings of my vscode, switched the hardfork to merge and it worked well, thanks for the help anyway
