Learning Blockchain and Chat GPT

Hi, my name is Neil,
I started learning to code a couple of years ago and my journey has brought me here to this Learn Blockchain, Solidity, and Full Stack Development with JavaScript course.
Now that I've got that introduction out of the way and communicated that I know some coding basics, I'm hoping that it's time to get into discussions on some forums.
Yes, I tried Discord but for some reason I haven't really got into any meaningful discussions over at Discord!
When I got to the Solidity part of this course I asked ChatGPT questions about Remix IDE and got some helpful answers (despite it having nothing beyond 2021 within it's database).
I chose the Desktop version of the Remix IDE, pasted the appropriate files in my C: drive and began to follow along with the tutorial.
Initially, I used the default_workspace, and didn't realise that you can select a workspace (e.g, connecting to localhost brings up a whole C: drive directory of mine that's full of folders related to work I did when learning Python, Java, PHP and C# (alongside where I pasted the Remix dir), I also discovered that you can create new workspaces.
This leads me to my first question: Should I create a new workspace for my SimpleStorage.sol file?
I'm going to ask ChatGPT the same question but I'd rather get an answer from another human, because I'd rather talk to a real person than an AI!

@neilburbage It is up to you. You can create a new one for this course contracts or you can add in an existing workspace.

Have made alot of progress since my post on the forum, I'm now starting Lesson 4: Remix Fund Me.
Once I complete this lesson I'll be able to send / receive ETH from / to accounts in my MetaMask wallet!
Once I'm done, I hope you don't mind me asking you if you I could message you to request that you send me a little bit of ETH so I can see whether my blockchain developer environment is working as it should?
I've been working with Remix IDE on the browser as it was tricky to connect my MetaMask wallet to The Desktop version of Remix IDE. I couldn't get the following to work:
Re: Using Wallet Connect: Installing the MetaMask mobile app, connecting MetaMask to Wallet Connect, visiting the desktop decentralized application (dApp) using WalletConnect as connection method and getting the window with the QR code and then scanning the QR code with MetaMask mobile app!
Have you been able to use Wallet Connect to connect a (MetaMask) wallet to The Desktop version of Remix IDE?
Btw, how far through this course are you?
