Hardhat Problem

In Lesson 7, during the yarn hardhat, hardhat did not bring create a basic simple project,Please what should I do.

@alymurtazamemon they in fact changed the CLI interactions. It now offers the following options : empty project, javascript project, typescript project

@Koowah Yes, I know it. He was saying that option is not showing so I thought he faced the hardhat.config.js duplicate file issue because due to that these options does not show and an error of the already configured project shows.

I also don't have "create a basic simple project" but have what's above. I chose create a JavaScript project and I got Lock.sol instead of Greeter.sol. The code is different for each file so what should I do?

@alex81983 Now they provide Lock.sol contract instead of Greeter.sol. You have selected the correct project type just now delete default given files inside the contracts, scripts, and test folder and create your own.

Just choose Create a Javascript project and you will be fine !

when the tutorial was done, hardhat had different options. A few things has changes as per hardhat version, use Javascript for all the projects.
