Lesson 7: Out of gas on withdraw function.

Hi, I was going through lesson 7, fund-me with hardhat, and was running the final staging test. The issue is that i can fund the contract fine, but my test fails when I try to withdraw my funds as it reverts with out of gas.

How do I increase the allowed gas? Right now I am using this statement to call the withdraw function. I know the contract is fine because i can withdraw normally with metamask on etherscan.

await fundMe.withdraw()

Nevermind, fixed the issue. gas-report says I need 78000 gas, but hardhat was only sending 25000. Specified extra gas with

await fundMe.withdraw({ gasLimit: 100000 })

nice! how do you see where hardhat is sending only 25000? also, any idea why Patrick did not face the same issue?

i could see the gas allowance in the failed transaction on rinkeby etherscan.

Thanks it helped me ! But why we don't face this issue with the "fund" function which consumes 100000 gas ?
