The Solidity version pragma statement in these files doesn't match any of the configured compilers in your config. Change the pragma or configure additional compiler versions in your hardhat config.

This is when I try to run yarn hardhat run scripts/deploy.js
And then I get * contracts/SimpleStorage.sol (^0.8.8) but I double checked that both my Simplestorage contract and my hardhart.config.js are at ^0.8.8 and I tried other versions and such. It also says To learn more, run the command again with --verbose but how do I run verbose on yarn and hardhat?

It looks like you can't put the ^ carrot in the hardhat.config.js file.
