Lesson 9: CheckUpkeep

I am getting the following error when calling the function checkUpkeep from performUpkeep

TypeError: Invalid type for argument in function call. Invalid implicit conversion from literal_string "" to bytes calldata requested.

Error HH600: Compilation failed

So I changed the following code to memory at line 2. Same was given in the course repo.
But as per the video and Documentation its supposed to be calldata.
So what's the issue here?
