Lesson 5 - defaultformatter on mac

Hey guys, I'm trying to set-up auto formatter into my vs code, however is not working.
First, there are the only options when I search for JSON settings:

If i pick User Json, I got this:

I downloaded prettier and included all defaultformatter from Javascript and solidity, saved it. However the format is not working.
I've tried to open up settings on vs code...

and when I click it, it send me to the same settings JSON. Super stranger!

I need help please! Cheers!

@gabrielassanuma Press COMMAND + , it will open settings for you, then in the search bar type formatter. It will show you the default formatter drop down you can select your preferred one from there.

Go to settings

In settings, find this submenu

or, just search "formatter" here

Conclusion

Then, you can see the available formatters (auto-formatter should be available there via manual config or if it is an extension, it should automatically show up) to select from:
