It certainly is interesting, and as for its future, no-one really knows and any arguments for either sides are speculative fallacies. Most prefer to be aligned with it to advocate for decentralization, or at least, to lay the foundations of it (besides the rampant scammers who act in self-interest due to the immaturity of the market). So, it indeed is up to you and what kind of a person you are. It certainly is not the safest of the options in this field if you long for financial freedom and safety. I would not classify it to be as revolutionary as the internet (w/o developments in networking, the first cryptographic blockchain prototypes wouldn't have been developed early 90s), but it certainly is your best bet if you long for such a revolutionary tail-event. As for the roadmap, this is a good reference to keep track of your knowledge (which an ideal dev should be comfortable with): https://roadmap.sh/blockchain As for the learning to code part, follow the above as a reference-point; expertise comes with practice (curiosity bolsters this process by-far) and resilience. |

As developers, experts and learners of Blockchain and Web 3.0 , what are your thoughts on the kind of impacts Blockchain & web 3 will have on the future of tech industry? What should a beginner, while starting out ,have in mind to expect to learn from this technology . Also what are some real world current as well as possible future applications of Blockchain .
Would you classify it as something as Revolutionary as the internet ? Are we in the early stages of something that can cause a consumer behavioural shift in people ?
Apart from that, what roadmap would you suggest to follow , in terms of learning to code , types of projects to explore as a beginner and most importantly , make some real world contributions ?
