Windows 10 WSL problem, lesson 5

I did the: (wsl -- install) thing. It said to restart, but after I restarted my PC. The thing that says to set a username didn't show up, and Ubuntu didn't install either.

Hey @P1nnit what happens when you run the command wsl

@P1nnit No need to worry. You can use two ways to install a distribution.

1. You could go to microsoft store, search Ubuntu, and install either version 20.04.5 LTS or 18.04.5 LTS or whatever version suits you. This way when you run the command wsl WSL will use this installed distribution.
2. Alternatively, you could do all of this in the terminal (I prefer this). You can run wsl --list --online to see what distributions are available for you to download. You'll see a list of them so choose whatever you want to install and install it with the command wsl --install -d <distribution_name> For example wsl --install -d Ubuntu

That should be enough. Tell me if this fixes your problem or if you encounter any errors along the way.
