Error while running scripts

hey guys I'm facing problem while running scripts , there's no error in my code everything works perfectly but whenever I try to run scripts using command (yarn hardhat run scripts/filename.js) I get these errors (given below) and I'm following sir Pattrick lecture as it is

Error HH303: Unrecognized task scripts

Error: Cannot find module '/home/saad/hh-defi/scripts'

• First you have to run your hardhat node : yarn hardhat node
• Then run your scripts in other terminal like : yarn hardhat run scripts/filename.js --network localhost

Hey @msaadi3 please share a screenshot of your directory structure. And make sure that filename.js is indeed inside the scripts folder.

@msaadi3 Either you do not have scripts folder or its name is different. Make sure it.

guys here is the ss of my vs code I'm getting two different errors. when I run yarn hardhat run scripts I get different error and when i run yarn hardhat run scripts/filename.js i get different error. please check it out and let me know

Hey @msaadi3 your first error was expected because your are trying to run a folder not a script. By doing so, you made hardhat feel like there is a module called script that needed to be run (which is non-existent btw) that why you got the error cannot find module.
The second error seems like the main error in this case. It appears that there is something wrong with your ETHEREUM_MAINNET_RPC_URL value. Please make sure that it is correct and share your hardhat.config file just incase, there is any other error that we might spot and help you with.

ok got it here is the ss of my config file, I've already double checked my config file many times I didn't find anything wrong and i got RPC-URL from infura of ETH mainnet

There is your error @msaadi3, by using quotes "" , you are passing a string with the value ETHEREUM_MAINNET_RPC_URL instead of the const that stores your process.env value.

Just remove the double quotes and should work.

I've also checked this many times by removing quotes but when i remove quotes i get different error. error after removing quotes:

@msaadi3 What is the error you are facing right now? If it is the same as the one outlined in the description, that is essentially solved by being on the right path in terminal--I tried doing the same w/ the appropriate path and the scripts run perfectly.

@msaadi3 make sure you have dotenv installed with this command on terminal :
yarn list | grep dotenv or npm list dotenv - depending on what you are using.

You are not reading from the .env because of the missing (), and thats why you are getting the error...

If you put your variable like this:
const ETHEREUM_MAINNNET_RPC_URL = process.env.ETHEREUM_MAINNNET_RPC_URL || "1";
You will get an INVALID_URL_ERR for "1".

yeah got it thank you so much but now how to resolve this error (invalid signer) you also got that error I've tried so much but I couldn't get rid of it.
