Create a new meta mask wallet if you are going to be using it for any sort of testing don't compromise your day to day wallet. |

Ok so I went to metamask and created a new account and named it dummy is that what you meant? My main account is called Account1. So just plug in my dummy account for any remix use? |

@raychard7 : This is the common question as people don't want to create a new wallet for testing because in reality its a pain to changing between your metamask wallets in your PC If that's your case, Hope this clears your doubt! |

No, It is still the same wallet! and You just created a new account inside your wallet! You have to create a whole new wallet means an account with a different seed phrase (new wallet) not new account within same wallet! |

@raychard7 : This is the common question as people don't want to create a new wallet for testing because in reality its a pain to changing between your metamask wallets in your PC
If that's your case,
Then, I would suggest you to just use another browser, Means if you have your main wallet in your Chrome, You can use Brave for your coding and testing work! Just install metamask in that browser and create a new wallet there and do your coding and testing in that browser! and you will be just fine and your main wallet will remain protected in another browser!
