Lesson 7 - Difference between deployments.get() and ethers.getContract()

Can someone please explain the difference between

const ethUSDAggregator = await deployments.get("MockV3Aggregator")
and
fundMe = await ethers.getContract("FundMe", deployer)

aren't both fetching the deployed contracts?
