Hey @arnav029 yes etherscan does show real money (ETH) transactions on the mainnet. Etherscan is a block explorer that allows us to see transaction on several blockchains not just mainnet. Throughout the course we use testnets like rinkeby and goerli that have dummy money. This is considered dummy money because it has no real value in the real world outside the testnets that the money is in. what makes ETH on the mainnet valuable is because you can exchange it with real dollars. It is also important to note that ETH cannot be used across different chains so if you have ETH on rinkeby it can't be used in goeli or mainnet.
