Lesson 7: "ChainId is not defined"

Hi, I am trying to deploy mock.js (10:49:17) but it says:
ReferenceError: chainId is not defined

For better understanding, the entire error is:

Error: ERROR processing skip func of /home/ash/hardhat-fund-me/deploy/01-deploy-fund-me.js:
ReferenceError: chainId is not defined.

I have tried adding chainId as 31337 and also tried adding network.name

Could anyone help me here?

The code worked, it was indirectly resolved by the solution provided by @adityabhattad2021 for another issue I was facing.

@ashrth In your fundMe deploy script you have to deploy the mocks aswell, If you are on a local testing network.

@ashrth : Made some changes, copy & paste this one and check it out. And you can only deploy this script on a test net like rinkeby, not on hardhat because you are not deploying the mocks.

Rewrite the module exports in your helper-hardhat.config as module.exports = { networkConfig, developmentChains, DECIMALS, INITIAL_ANSWER }
Use a = sign not -

Hey @ashrth I've made changes to your code and pushed them to your repo. Check the PR i've made.
There was several errors.
There was an extra } in your hardhat.config and you had mispelled the contract name in your 01-deploy-fund-me file.
You should be okay now.

Hi @othaime-en, I made all the changes but it still shows the same error, "TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'length')"

@othaime-en Upon checking helpers.ts from node modules, I see 6 errors there, but I didn't even touch it. Can you suggest ways where I can match it with any other helpers.ts file and find out the error?
Below the error there are more details written and paths taking me to different files in node modules, where there is error. What do you think I should do?
Is it because I am using a newer version of hardhat that some code or file is missing?
