On Metamask, are you making sure to switch it to the appropriate Test network that you are trying to get test ETH for? Also, which particular test network ETH are you trying to get? |

Yes, George. Thanks for your feedback.
I signed into my Metamask account. Then I followed the instructions given
on this column:
https://www.alchemy.com/overviews/rinkeby-testnet
On my Metamask screen, I first chose the default Rinkeby Testnet as my
network.
I got an error message, saying "Oops, something went wrong."
So, I pressed the "Add network" button on my Metamask screen.
I was prompted to fill out a few lines like network name, URL, chain ID,
currency, etc.
As I filled them out according to instructions, there was a warning under
the URL line saying the URL was already taken.
Then the "SAVE" button was grayed out.
That is when I started seeking your help.
I am still stuck there as we speak.
Please advise.
Chad

I would appreciate advice on getting good instructions for requesting
testnet ETH from a faucet.
Thank you. Chad

Thanks, Juan.
The Chainlink faucet works. I got the free ETH.
I get the test ETH for a course on Blockchain and Solidity.
I am a 70-year old aspiring coder.
By the time I am 100, I'll be really good.

Hello Chad.
What do you need the test eth for? Have you also tried to get it from
chainlink?

Thanks,
