Should I copy and paste the codes or write along while watching the course?

Answering specifically: It depends on you. If you are a beginner, you should write and tweak the code to practice as much as possible. If you are not, following along the video—pausing here and there—should be sufficient.

General advice: Then again, the goal should not be to complete the course; instead, to grasp all the concepts it covers, as well as tweaking—i.e. anything you can think of from the concepts, with SC the opportunities are endless—as much as possible to be comfortable with them.

If you only write code—or only "grasp concepts"—it will ultimately just be a waste of time. You should do both.
