Lesson 15: UpdateListingModal not showing pop up

Is anyone else coming across the issue of the "success" notification not popping up once the price has been updated.
Following the videos example is works but using the revised method shown below, the notification never pops up even after mining a few blocks.

        await tx.wait(1)
        dispatch({

            message: "listing updated",
            title: "Listing updated - please refresh (and move blocks)",

        onClose && onClose()
        setPriceToUpdateListingWith("0")

Also, can someone explain how this line works:

onClose && onClose()
