Rinkeby deprecated - Impact on Lesson 9 code

When running the staging test on Rinkeby, I get this error from Alchemy regarding Rinkeby deprication.

If I change the test network to Goerli, I get 'network not supported by Chainlink VRF' as Goerli is not supported by Chainlink VRF. Screenshot shown below.

What is the solution to this?

Is this the first time you are running it?

I get this provider error from Alchemy

ProviderError: Unsupported method: evm_snapshot. See available methods at https://docs.alchemy.com/alchemy/documentation/apis

I thought it is related to Rinkeby deprecation as that's what this link https://docs.alchemy.com/alchemy/documentation/apis pointed to.

Apparently, this url https://docs.alchemy.com/alchemy/documentation/apis is throwing a 404 now.
Now, when I ran it again, It got the same error but without the reference url

Roger that. I had same error, but problem was in my Raffle.staging.test.js. Check your files guys or just try version from Patrick github

I am currently stuck with the same error. Did you manage to solve it? My test also gets stuck while verifying some times, in etherscan the code will appear as verified but in the console of the vscode terminal it says its still waiting for verification and eventually times out :(

Are you getting 'evm_snapshot' error? If not, then it is the 'timeout error', there are other discussions threads around that.

Instead of using Alchemy, can use alternative such as Infura to provide node as a service for Rinkeby Tesnet.
