Lesson 6: Hardhat Simple Storage

I am encountering an error after downloading hardhat through yarn while running it. Below is the image of error, please help me solve this egregious error !!

Hi @DevShah-maker

The 1st lines asks you to remove package-lock.json , I would start here.

It also seems you are running windows powershell but your error log makes mention of ubuntu, have you tried switching to bash?

Follow along:

• Uninstall the ones you have: node_modules, cache, artifacts and package-lock.json
• Copy the package.json from Patrick's repo
• Now, do yarn install
• Check if it works now.
