Lesson 14 IPFS issues

Hey guys, I'm new to this, and I tried installing IPFS through the command line, and I completely botched it. I had successfully installed it, but when I would try to search Patricks ipfs:// links from my browser, normal https:// searches would only show still.

I tried all of the command lines from https://docs.ipfs.io/install/command-line/#system-requirements

I'm running WSL: Ubunutu for the project, and after taking some time with it, whenever I try to fix it again, it gives me this error:

Error: ipfs daemon is running. please stop it to run this command

Is there a way to uninstall and reinstall it?

I'm completely stuck now and can't move forward with the course because I'm unsure of how to completely work around IPFS, some guidance would be nice. Thank you!

@Focalized You do not need the local desktop application to process just install the IPFS extension on whatever browser you are using the paste the ipfs uri there.

Another question, @alymurtazamemon when I install the extension, it just tells me everything is offline and doesn't open up a new window for me or anything. So how exactly do I get it to work now to paste the ipfs uris?

Or is it that I can only paste https:// only uris?

When I try to paste the examples from Patricks 03-deploy-random-ipfs-nft.js file it gives me this:

@Focalized Show your issue, It is working fine if you have extension installed.
