At 8:50:00 min of the video,
when i run the command yarn hardhat run scripts/deploy.js --network rinkeby i get those errors.

Error HH8: There's one or more errors in your config file:

  * Invalid value undefined for HardhatConfig.networks.rinkeby.url - Expected a value of type string.
  * Invalid account: #0 for network: rinkeby - Expected string, received undefined"

This is my code on the hardhat.config.js file

"Changing the RPC_URL should fix it." Does this not work too? Try Goerli as the last resort.

I tried Goerli and its running but it doesnt show the address of the contract as in the course.
"Deployed contract to: [object Object]".
What do you mean change the rpc_url btw?

console.log with the contract address should work.

By RPC_URL, I meant changing it in the .env file. Whichever host you are using, eg Alchemy, which you did -- ie, Goerli.

@StavrosPlatis It was working fine for me, you should check your keys and their values in .env file, and leave a link here I will see it again tomorrow.

I tried Goerli network so i ve changed the private key and the url.Its working but it doesnt show the address like it does in the course.
"Deployed contract to: [object Object]". But what could it go wrong with the .env file? I just copy paste those 2 values.

@StavroPlatis Make sure in your .env the format is Object ie: RINKEBY_RPC_URL=https://eth-rinkeby.alchemyapi.io/v2/

i had colons between instead of = wasnt working gave me HH8 error
