Lesson 8, withdrawing not working

When i click fund its works perfectly, But when I click withdraw button there nothing to happen , its just send 0 eth, But my contract have 9 eth.Who I solve it?

@prashanta0234 Works fine for me -- I pulled your repo to my local repo. You sure you are running the HTTP server properly?

Yes i run my local server from vs code using live server extantion, and mu local URL is http://127.0.0.1:5500/ .

Still now its not working.

I was also facing same problem . But now it's working for me
try this

1. Go to metamask setting
2. Select Advanced option
3. And click on reset account

Follow the above steps you withdraw function will work normally

@prashanta0234 I checked your code, and connect it with my fundme abi, and both fund and withdraw functions work perfectly.

Make sure your hardhat node is running when you perform operations and MetaMask is connected to HardhatLocal host account. And also make sure that your fundme contract withdraw functions works perfectly and the correct abi is added in the constants file of frontend

But in my computer its not working. I run my localhost in http://127.0.0.1:5500/ and i run hardhat run perfectly. I also check my code in remix ide in remix its all function work perfectly. But in my local computer its not working, My fund function is working but withdraw not working.

Hello! I am running into the same issue. My withdraw function does not withdraw funds. All the other functions work fine. Have you all been able to figure out what the issue was on your end?

I ran into the same issue. I solved it by using the deployer account in Metamask. Hardhat Account '#1' is the default contract deployer. The deployer is the only account that can withdraw ETH from the contract. Therefore, Add or replace the Metamask account with the deployer account.

I'm having the same issue...I was using account #0. I switched to account #1 in metamask but the problem still persists when I am using this account. Transactions goes through but nothing is withdrawn from the contract.

I think I mixed up the Account numbers. but I meant to say Hardhat uses the first/top Account to deploy. which happens to be
Account #0: 0xf39Fd6e51aad88F6F4ce6aB8827279cffFb92266 (10000 ETH), use that in Metamask as well to withdraw
