Lesson 9: deployer how hardhat recognizes?

Hi everyone!, how hardhat recognizes even if words are different i.e. 'default' and 'defaultNetwork'

module.exports = {
    defaultNetwork: "hardhat",

and 

namedAccounts: {
        deployer: {
            default: 0,
        },
