The RInkeby faucet doesnt add any eth to my metamask wallet account

Hello, After pasting my eth wallet address and clicking on the "send me eth" I got an error message that my account has been credited. But I couldn't see it on metamask wallet balance as expected. When I tried it again it said that I had to wait for 24 hours. Please how do I go about it? Thank you.

@Itoro-Brown It takes some time, go to rinkeby.testnet and paste your public address and see whether the transaction exist or not.

Be patient, also, there are multiple faucets to get test ETH from - you can use them.
