Why am I getting this error and warning message ?

Note to the above for reference: It is so because you are initializing the variable simpleStorage twice with the same type, the object instantiation is not the problem, hence, fixed by removing the SimpleStorage from the line

Do you have SimpleStorage contract compiled/deployed? That could be one of the reasons if it still did not work.

@krakxn Yes the SimpleStorage contract is complied and deployed.

I see, by the way, as a warning - this applies to almost any kind of programming: ALWAYS pay extra attention to paths, file and variable names. Typos are especially hard to diagnose in a bigger project.
