Windows users with WSL - solution for WSL remote connection issue

I just spent half an hour unable to use my WSL with VSCode. It was hanging with the green box in the bottom left hand corner saying "Opening Remote". This happened whenever I opened a new VSCode.

After searching for ages I found a solution:

1. Open services.msc
2. Find LxssManager
3. Right click and restart

That fixed it for me.

there in menu is restart but it is blurred and only refresh is available. have anyone suggestions ?
