Files Not Showing After Downloading And Running Hardhat AndCode .Not Working

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem.

At the moment we are following the video at 10:04:0 and have created a new folder, Hardhat-Fund-Me but when I run the commands to download and run hardhat no files are created in the directory.

Also when I runcode . it throws an error saying:

zsh: command not found: code

Do yarn hardhat - and create a basic JS project. Cheers

have tried doing that, the same outcome. It does seem to run as normal, with no errors and showing all available tasks, however, No files or dependencies were created.

Are you in the wrong directory on either the explorer or the terminal? Do not know why it would not show up elsewise.

Both terminal and the explorer are in HardHat-Fund-Me-FCC, it is strange indeed, have tried doing same with various test folders with the same outcome

@anasimov run pwd it will show the location where you are currently, verify that is that correct. Also run npx hardhat --verbose, it will show you hardhat-config file if any already created, if created then delete that and run again npx hardhat

open the command palette
type in >shell command
uninstall "code" command from PATH
install "code" command in PATH

if your on a mac make sure you drag vs code into the applications folder before you try the above steps! hope this helped
