Devcontainer configuration

Hi.

I’d like to add a Devcontainer configuration to simplify onboarding and make the development environment more consistent across contributors.

This would be especially helpful for quickly spinning up a working setup with all necessary dependencies.

Has someone already done this? Any suggestions?

I’d be happy to contribute a basic setup if that’s welcome!

I think this might be a good idea, if you want you can throw up a PR and well go from there.

If, for some reason, I get stuck, is it okay to open a PR even if things aren't working yet? Just to show my work to others and get help?
