The script is good. I like that you can select two points on different paths and rotate the text along the virtual line. Only it doesn't define the selected segment of a path if the user hasn't selected anchor points.

Toshiyuki TAKAHASHI has a script that can define a mouse-selected segment of a path without the user selecting the segment's endpoints
https://github.com/gau/adjust-text-angle-to-segment. This would be a good addition to your script.

I would also add a rotation from the anchor point of the text, getting the key from the justification property

I did some tests with different justifications, selected anchor points, and just segments with no selected anchor points. Seems to look great.

@sky-chaser-high hi. I also find Toshiyuki Takanashi's idea of rotating the text from the direction of the path interesting. In one case by segment angle, in the second case by angle+180 degrees. When we do reverse path direction for a path. If a path segment is selected or two points of the same path, we can read the direction by parentPath.polarity (PolarityValues.POSITIVE or PolarityValues.NEGATIVE). If two points of different paths are selected, then simply rotate by the angle between them

You may also sometimes want to return rotated text to the horizontal position. In Toshiyuki Takanashi's script it is enough to select only text and run the script, then the text rotation will be reset
