Skin ChatBubbles

Hello,
first of all thanks for this great addon :)
My question is how i disable only the skin for the chatbubbles. i found the ChatBubbles.lua but changing chatbubble.styled from true to false doesnt do anything. if i delete the file it works but it gives out a lua error everytime i reload the ui so i would like to know of a better way to disable only the chatbubble skin.
