Asset search disabled in link editor

We have recently updated our Neos install and are using Neos 8.3.23 and Archaeopteryx v1.5.2.

When we open an Archaeopteryx link editor, and go to the Asset tab, the asset search box ends up read-only. If I inspect the search box, and remove the readonly attribute, search functions as normal. As you can see in the screenshot, once the media manager is loaded by Archaeopteryx a rogue 'readonly' attribute is added to the search bocx.

Search works fine in the normal Neos Media manager, which leads me to assume it is an issue in Archaeopteryx, but I could be wrong.
