Description
Dear Dr. Xinge Yang,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am currently attempting to replicate the results presented in Figure 4 of your paper "End-to-End Hybrid Refractive-Diffractive Lens Design with Differentiable Ray-Wave Model". I have been using the hybrid_lens_design.py code as a reference, but I am facing challenges in reproducing the setup and results accurately due to a few missing implementation details.
I would be grateful if you could help clarify the following aspects:
Lens Element Sequence & Distances:
Could you please share the exact sequence in which the optical elements (aperture stop, refractive lens, spherical lens, DOE, and sensor) were placed, along with the distances between them?
Inverse Design Parameters:
How many epochs and iterations did you use for the inverse design process?
What optimization strategy did you follow during the design process in Figure 4?
Wavelengths Used:
Which RGB wavelengths did you use in your experiments?
Were they fixed across the design process or optimized jointly?
Sensor Configuration:
What was the value of the sensor patch size or the ks parameter?
DOE Type:
Was the DOE used in this figure binary?
I am very interested in your work and look forward to understanding your methodology more deeply. Your guidance would be invaluable for my research.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
