Recommended airgapped approach

Hi all,

what is the recommended airgapped approach for setting up / upgrading a cluster?

• can we build an ova with all required images, charts?
• is it recommended to not use this ova but set up a registry within the same network with metallb or the sorts?

I would be grateful if you could send me sample docs / setups for this approach.

A recommended approach depends on what you need. There are some features of Talos (eg Kubespan) that require external coordination which requires either using Omni or the Talos discovery service. If you don't need these features then they can be skipped.

If you're deploying to bare metal then you'll need a different configuration than something like VMware. If you have DHCP then you'll have different config and requirements than static IP addresses.
