etcd quota-backend-bytes not working

Hello Hii,
we are facing weird issue with resizing the etcd , we have used quota-backend-bytes and tried to increase it to 5GB , initially it worked for some days we started defragmenting periodically to avoid space issue.But today suddenly we noticed the space is full and our etcd size came back to 119MB again . we tried to reboot the nodes but talos is not able to recognise this extra argument from machine config. any leads would be grateful we are kind of stuck now. Thanks

our talos version is v1.9.5

found the work around, we need to delete alarms first then only it will work otherwise it won't work
