upgrage-k8s to 1.33.0 fails with "REMOVED FLAG: cloud-provider"

Trying to upgrade my k8s from 1.32.3 to 1.33.0 fails with the removed flag error: cloud-provider.

With talosctl -n ... get apiserverconfig -o yaml I see the flag is set to cloudProvider: external. But how do I actually remove it? 🤔
I couldn't find a proper way with the machineconfig.
