Extension for Sound Modules

I am looking to pass a usb mic into k8s and tried out generic-device-plugin, however base Talos does not come with sound modules, so it wasn't able to register /dev/snd devices. Is there an existing extension for these modules? Any help or documentation to point me in the right direction to solve this problem would be appreciated!
