Expected Release Date for Stable .NET 9 Version of Shiny Package?

Hi team,

I’ve been following the development of the Shiny package and noticed ongoing updates related to .NET 9. I was wondering if there’s an estimated timeline for the release of a stable version compatible with .NET 9?

Understanding this would help us plan our integration and testing efforts accordingly. Appreciate any insights or updates you can share!

You don't need an update to NET9. The functionality with NET8 will work 100% fine in NET9 without issue.

We have both Android and iOS projects built using .NET MAUI, and we've upgraded them to .NET 9. However, we're currently unable to use the Shiny.Hosting.Maui package version 3.3.4, as it doesn't support .NET 9. While the latest beta version of Shiny does offer .NET 9 compatibility, we are unable to adopt it in our production environment due to its beta status.

Shiny.Hosting.Maui 3.3.4 will install just fine in a .NET 9 MAUI app and function exactly the same. All previous libraries .NET6+ will function just fine in a .NET9 unless they have some sort of version specific things... which Shiny does not.
