Removing "ASM News" from homepage

Hello,
Is there a way to remove the "ASM News" section from the homepage?
I noticed that it can be removed via main.js, but I was wondering if there's a configuration option for this instead.

There isn't, but that's a good suggestion. This is something that we should add as a sitedef/option in asm3.conf
