Marking a Medical Regimen as Given on Medical Book page creates duplicate regimen entry on the Animal Medical Record #1673
-
Update - ok I don't see way to delete the issue but my description of the issue is wrong - seems it creates duplicate entry if use Give vs just updating the item on the Animal as Completed.... Guess not really a duplicate but more noting that giving a dose of the regimen. We don't have the manpower to do that and just want to mark active and complete. I'll do my research and figure it out if a way to do it in bulk differently. If we create a medical regimen for a kitten on that kitten's Medical tab and then view it using the Medical Book view and mark the regimen as Given from that view, it appears to create a duplicate entry for that regimen in the kitten's Medical tab. |

It is, it sounds like you're skipping some treatments. When you say 3 treatments starting on the 21st, it creates the treatments on demand. So, if you don't give the first one until the 23rd, you will get a new treatment created for the 24th. It's done this way to stop animals being overdosed. There is an option to create all the treatments up front if you prefer, it's under Settings->Options->Medical->Pre-create all treatments when creating fixed-length medical regimens |
