Version 47 not yet in the Debian repo?

Looks like a wonderful software, thanks for making it FLOSS!

The Debian repo deb [trusted=yes] http://public.sheltermanager.com/deb/ ./ does not yet contain the version 47, only the 46.

Is there any plan to update it?

Really sorry about that, looks like the package was uploaded when it was released, but the Packages.gz file wasn't updated. I've done that now so 47 should be available. Thanks for letting us know.

It should be https rather than http. I'm not sure why you're getting the old content with http though, I just purged our edge cache to make sure and I'm still getting the old one for http so I'll investigate that. If you use https, it should hopefully work correctly.

Indeed!

I prefer to use HTTP for APT repositories, because it simplify the use of local caches and proxies, like apt-cacher-ng. And packages are usually signed by developer's PGP key. But as it's not the case here (or is it?), I'll switch to HTTPS, right. :)

Ouch. Upgrading from 46 to 47 completely rewrote my customized /etc/asm3.conf! 😭

Note that upgrading also rewrote /etc/apt/sources.list.d/sheltermanager3.list to force http.

Maybe these files should be marked in Debian package as configuration files, so the users could accept or deny modifications, no?

They should, I'll change that for future packages. The .list file does get forced to http. Checking our edge cache, it was caching Packages[.gz] for 24 hours so that's why http was still returning the old one. Thanks for the feedback on this.
