I think jot is a great tool for writing down markdown text, and I feel like it could be better if it supported pretty viewing of markdown files on the terminal. This is great for users who have already written down a bunch of .md files, and just want to view them. I feel like if jot supported this, it would look really good visually.

There are 3 options of viewer for this:

  1. Glow - https://github.com/charmbracelet/glow
  2. Frogmouth - https://github.com/textualize/frogmouth
  3. MDless - https://brettterpstra.com/2015/08/21/mdless-better-markdown-in-terminal/
  4. MarCLIDown - https://codeberg.org/NihaAlGhul/MarCLIdown

Personally, I quite like MarCLIDown.

Cheers.
