Publication

• Title. We discussed it a bit. Came to think Title vcf-zarr-publication#87 (comment) was best so far.
• JK: Would like to get some thumbs up from other contributors who haven’t commented on high-level structure
• JK: Get to preprint in May
• JK: Have written draft intro. Would be good to get feedback on it from a high-level from people here.
• JK: Bio2zarr. We have a couple of bugs to squash. But basically ready for production.
• JK: Hit some obscure bugs with chr2. Still figuring out. Will compare a filter query with Zarr version.

Codecov discussion

• BJ: been having issues with codecov - there are some recent limit issues caused by forks
• TW: if we are targeting 100% we don’t need to upload the report codecov

Release sgkit 0.8.0

• TW: Remaining blockers are duplicating work with bio2zarr
• JK: Not sure how to proceed. Not quite ready to pull in bio2zarr (doesn’t support truncating alleles)
• TW: Could we release with these unfixed?
• JK: Yes, not worse
