Problem
ppa:ondrej/php
are not able to be locked into specific PHP patch versionsProposed Solution
The following changes are proposed to solve the problem above.
Change tagging structure
Current:
serversideup/php:{{version}}-{{variation-name}} # Example: If I wanted to run PHP 8.0 with FPM + NGINX serversideup/php:8.0-fpm-nginx
Proposed:
serversideup/php-{{variation-name}}:{{php-version}} # Example: If I wanted to run PHP 8.0.14 with FPM + NGINX serversideup/php-fpm-nginx:8.0.14
👉 Things to research
Possibly change out
ppa:ondrej/php
for something elseTo my knowledge, there is not a way to define a specific patch version number to install with
ppa:ondrej/php
