Better surveys

Feature request:
better surveys like in AAP2.
E.g An multiple choice feature where it default to whatever you prefer. A option for boolean true | false with a fallback if the user isn't providing anything when running the playbook

So basically a new type "MultipleChoice" and the option to set default value.

The use case can be many, but for me it is for when setting up new servers. I can then have some kind of "do you want this or that".

Which format you expecting to have as result of multiple choice? I think JSON array suitable for this? What do you think?

@fiftin hmm there i'm kinda unsure. I'm Thinking something like the following.

Just an example:
Question: Should dev tools be installed?
The variable int_av_install (called name in SUI right?)
The choice table
Option1: True (default value)
Option2: False

Then when playbook runs (i guess this is how the surveys works)
it gets -e int_av_install=True (the chosen value)

I mean "MultipleChoice" survey. Are you want to allow user to choose multiple variants, right? How this variants should be passed to ansible-playbook? For example:

What colors do you like:
Red: red ✅
Green: green ✅
Blue: blue ❌

My view:

-e '{"favorite_colors": ["red", "green"]}'

By the default value I totally agree.

Actually i just wanted it like
A list of options and the user can just take one of them. Not 2 just one. That is the behavior of aap :)

Like the enum but where you say e.g. key1 is default but user can change it to key2 og key3
