Asus ROG Strix Scar 16 G635LW - Turning on laptop always resets screen to Multizone mode

What's wrong?

My ROG Strix Scar 16 G635LW is equipped with a MiniLED screen that can cycle between the modes of One Zone, Multi Zone, and Multi Zone Strong. When set to One Zone mode and the laptop is restarted or shut down and turn back on again, the screen reverts to Multi Zone mode, without any changes being made on my end. When opening ghelper on bootup, the app reports that it still is in One Zone mode, while in actuality it is in Multi Zone mode, as evidences by halos around the mouse cursor with a dark background. To get it to go back to actually go back to One Zone mode, I have to cycle through the mode settings by clicking to go to Multi Zone mode, which does not change anything as the screen itself is already in this mode, Multi Zone Strong mode, then finally back to One Zone mode.

How to reproduce the bug?

1. Set screen to One Zone Mode
2. Turn off and back on or restart the laptop
3. Laptop boots up again in Multi Zone mode, with ghelper incorrectly reporting it is in One Zone mode
