Support .localhost TLD

Seems like reqwest doesn't support .localhost TLD.
Should it be handled by the library? Otherwise, what's the suggested way to handle it?

Application software MAY recognize localhost names as special, or
MAY pass them to name resolution APIs as they would for other
domain names.

If we just pass on to the DNS resolver, the rest should just work?

I'm not sure. Just elaborating on my use case. Recently, I switched to .localhost subdomains for development (I need dynamic subdomains). So far, all the software handled them correctly without any changes from my end - browsers, curl, postman - all resolve .localhost to the loopback address by default. But yesterday, I spent quite some time debugging one of the issues, and the culprit turned out to be that reqwest doesn't resolve such domains to the loopback address. So I need either hardcode endpoint in .resolve() or bring my own DNS resolver, which is far from being convenient and confusing considering spec'ed behavior for .localhost TLD.

reqwest is currently just asking the resolver for the address, which unless you've configured otherwise, is your OS resolver. So, another option is to add a rule to your /etc/hosts, if your OS' resolver doesn't understand them yet without the rule.
